I/Tech's Educational Partners Offer Microsoft's MCSA Program
FREDERICK, MD – I/Tech Services announced its decision to offer a new Microsoft certification geared toward current computer professionals and career changers alike. Educational institutions, in partnership with I/Tech Services - a Microsoft Certified Technical Education Center, can now offer the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) credential. This is one of the most recent and highly anticipated information technology (IT) credential of 2002 available through Microsoft.
The MCSA certification measures skills for implementing, managing and troubleshooting existing network and system environments based on the Microsoft Windows 2000 platform. Besides standing alone as one of the most up-to-date IT training programs, the MCSA is a stepping stone for the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) credential. MCSA candidates who currently hold CompTIA A+, Network +, and/or Server + certifications meet elective exam requirements for both the MCSA and MCSE certifications. The MCSA credential also validates the specific skills required for network and systems administrator roles as well as providing employers with a means to identify those individuals who have the appropriate skills needed for advancement.
Jim Hemgen, Director of Education Program, states,“We believe this exciting new program will successfully train students to meet an industry need for network and technical support specialists. This is the ideal program to provide students who want to acquire sufficient skills to manage and maintain Windows based networks. It also serves as the perfect stepping stone to the premier MCSE credential for those that continue their professional training"
I/Tech partners provide this training to students who want to build their information technology career with an affordable, attainable and respected certification. The four course, instructor-led MCSA program is currently available at an introductory price of $3995 and can be completed in just over three months.
